This Week’s Best Cruise Deals: 5 Nights on Freedom of the Seas for $271

Five nights on Freedom of the Seas from $271, plus Black Friday previews from Celebrity, Virgin, Princess and Holland America, all checked Nov 6.

How we work: facts are checked against original sources and linked, cruise prices are verified on the cruise line’s own website the day we publish, and we earn no commissions. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we will correct it.

Black Friday sales have started early. Royal Caribbean launched “Black Friday Beat The Clock” this morning, and five nights on Freedom of the Seas from Miami now start at $271, about $54 a night. Virgin Voyages, Princess and Holland America have early Black Friday offers too.

Here are the best deals of the week. Every price below was checked on November 6, 2026, directly on each cruise line’s site. Disney’s rates come from the Disney Cruise Line Blog, which tracks them every week. Royal Caribbean’s and Holland America’s sales end before next Friday, so we’ve listed every deadline.

Royal Caribbean · Freedom of the Seas · 5 nights · Western Caribbean · from Miami · sails December 12, 2026

Royal Caribbean lists this sailing from $271 per person, which works out to about $54 a night. That’s the lowest per-night fare on Royal Caribbean’s deals page this week, lower than either four-night trip. Five nights also gives you a fuller Western Caribbean trip than a three- or four-night getaway, for less per night.

Watch for: $271 is a “starting from” fare for the cheapest cabin, and taxes, fees and gratuities are added at checkout. The sale offers “Up to $1,000 off + Cyber Bonus: Up to $150 credit to spend onboard + 3rd and 4th guests sail free” and is coded on Royal Caribbean’s page to end on Monday, November 9 (Eastern time). The ship sails in 36 days, so expect to pay in full when you book. See Royal Caribbean’s deals → Bookmark our Best Cruise Deals page for the latest verified picks.

3. Disney: Baja From $111.15 a Night

The Disney Cruise Line Blog’s November 2 post lists resident and military rates, quoted per person, per night:

  • US military: Disney Wonder, 4-night Baja from San Diego, January 25, 2027: $111.15 a night ($444.60 per person). It’s the sixth week at this rate, and it’s still the lowest on the list. Southern California residents pay $124.60 ($498.40) on the same sailing.
  • US military: Disney Wonder, 6-night Mexican Riviera from San Diego, November 16, 2026: $124.80 a night ($748.80).
  • Florida residents, new to us: Disney Dream, 7-night Eastern Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, January 22, 2027: $193.90 a night ($1,357.30), the lowest Florida resident rate on a sailing more than a week away.

Watch for: each rate is for the cheapest cabin category, rooms are limited to 50 per category and sailing, and the offers can’t be combined with other discounts.

4. Virgin Voyages: 80% Off the Second Sailor, Until November 19

Virgin’s new “Black Friday Preview: 80% off Second Sailor + up to $600 in Free Drinks” covers bookings made through 11:59 p.m. Eastern on November 19, 2026. Virgin’s terms split the saving across both sailors, so each gets 40% off the base fare. A separate Black Friday Preview offer adds up to $300 onboard credit on most Mediterranean 2027 sailings.

Watch for: the free bar tab only applies to Rockstar Suites and select Sea Terrace cabins, not to Sea View or Insider cabins, and not to voyages of three nights or fewer. No voyages are priced on the page. See Virgin Voyages’ deals →

5. Holland America: Up to 50% Off Plus $200 Credit, Until Wednesday

Holland America’s “Up to 50% off + $200 Onboard Credit – One week only!” covers cruises to the Caribbean, Mexico and beyond, with up to $200 onboard credit when you book by November 11. The page codes it to end at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. A separate early-booking offer for South America, Australia and other fall 2027 to spring 2028 cruises promises up to 60% off premium extras when you book by December 3.

Watch for: no ships, dates or fares are listed, so you’ll need to price your own sailing. See Holland America’s deals →

6. Princess: “Blue Friday,” Up to 50% Off Plus $400

Princess’s “Blue Friday” sale offers “Up to 50% + $400 instant savings + free 3rd & 4th guests + 50% off deposits.” Princess says instant savings run $50 to $300 for inside and oceanview cabins, $50 to $700 for balconies and $50 to $1,000 for minis and suites, depending on cruise length. Its prices include taxes and fees.

Watch for: no end date is shown, and the countdown on the page ran out on Thursday, so this could change at any time. No named sailings or fares are listed. See Princess deals →

What “75% Off the Second Guest” Really Means

Second-guest discounts are the headline at Celebrity and Virgin this week. They sound bigger than they are, so do the math before you compare them with a straight fare cut.

  1. Average it across both guests. If the first guest pays the full fare and the second pays 25%, the two of you pay 125% of one fare, or 62.5% each. So “75% off the second guest” is 37.5% off per person. Virgin says this directly: its “80% off” is 40% off for each sailor.
  2. It’s off the base fare only. Taxes, port fees and gratuities are charged in full for both guests, so the saving on the final bill is smaller than the percentage.
  3. Solo travelers get nothing. These offers need two people in the same cabin. If you sail alone, look for straight fare cuts or onboard credit instead.
  4. Compare the total, not the percentage. Price the same cabin with each offer and look at the checkout total for two. That’s the only number that tells you which deal is bigger.

Prices and offers were checked on November 6, 2026, and can change or sell out at any time. Unless noted, taxes, fees, port expenses and gratuities may be extra. Always confirm the final price on the cruise line’s website before booking. Cruise Chaos does not earn commissions on these deals.
