Cruise Chaos is built on true stories. Some of the best ones never make the news, because the only people who saw them were the passengers. That’s you.
What we’re looking for
- The strange: things that happened on board that you still can’t quite believe.
- The chaotic: missed ports, surprise itinerary changes, rough seas, lost luggage, embarkation meltdowns.
- The funny: the moments you retell at every dinner party.
- The useful: something went wrong, and you learned exactly how to handle it next time.
What happens next
- We read every story. Your email is never published.
- We fact-check it. We check what we can against news reports, the cruise line’s own statements and official records, the same way we check every article on the site. We may email you with a question or two.
- We tell you before it goes live. If we write your story up, we’ll email you first, and we’ll credit you the way you choose below.
- It has to be true, and something you experienced or saw first-hand.
- We don’t name other passengers or crew members, so please don’t include their names or photos of their faces.
- Only share photos or video you took yourself. A link is fine; we’ll ask before using anything.
- Not every story will be published, but every one is read.
