This Week’s Best Cruise Deals: 9 Nights on Freedom of the Seas for $621

Nine nights on Freedom of the Seas for $621, Icon of the Seas under $1,000 and five more cruise deals, all checked October 16 on the lines' own sites.

How we work: facts are checked against original sources and linked, cruise prices are verified on the cruise line’s own website the day we publish, and we earn no commissions. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we will correct it.

Royal Caribbean cut its long cruises this week. Nine nights on Freedom of the Seas now cost $621, about $69 a night and $97 less than last Friday. Icon of the Seas is listed at its lowest price since we started tracking it, and Ovation of the Seas is still offering four nights from Los Angeles for $169.

Here are the seven best deals of the week. Every price below was checked on October 16, 2026, directly on each cruise line’s site. Disney’s rates come from the Disney Cruise Line Blog, which tracks them every week. Princess’s sale ends on Sunday and Celebrity’s last-minute fares end on Monday, so we’ve listed every deadline.

⭐ Deal of the Day: Freedom of the Seas, Nine Nights for $621

Royal Caribbean · Freedom of the Seas · 9 nights · Southern Caribbean & Perfect Day at CocoCay · from Miami · sails November 5, 2026

Royal Caribbean lists this sailing from $621 per person, which works out to about $69 a night. That’s down from $738 two weeks ago and $718 last Friday. Nine nights is a lot of Caribbean for the money. You get the private island and the Southern Caribbean ports, and the long itinerary spreads the port fees over more nights than a weekend trip would.

Watch for: $621 is a “starting from” fare for the cheapest cabin, and taxes, fees and gratuities are added at checkout. The sale behind it is Royal Caribbean’s “Short Caribbean Getaways Sale” (“Cruises as low as $299 + 3rd and 4th guests sail free”), which is coded on its page to end on Thursday, October 22 (Eastern time). The rest of Royal Caribbean’s board, all under the same sale:

  • Icon of the Seas, 7 nights, Eastern Caribbean & Perfect Day, from Miami, October 24, 2026: from $925 (about $132 a night). That’s the lowest Icon fare we have logged. Earlier sailings ran from $998 to $1,157.
  • Ovation of the Seas, 4 nights, Catalina & Ensenada, from Los Angeles, November 30, 2026: from $169 (about $42 a night). It’s the same price as last week’s Deal of the Day, now on a later date.
  • Ovation of the Seas, 3 nights, Ensenada, from Los Angeles, December 11, 2026: from $269 (about $90 a night), down $40.
  • Star of the Seas, 7 nights, Western Caribbean & Perfect Day, from Port Canaveral (Orlando), December 6, 2026: from $1,086 (about $155 a night), down $90.
  • Wonder of the Seas, 4 nights, Bahamas & Perfect Day, from Miami, November 2, 2026: from $349 (about $87 a night).

Watch for: the Icon sailing leaves in eight days, so you’d need to book and pay in full almost immediately. Fares are per person, before taxes and fees, and the sale ends on Thursday, October 22. See Royal Caribbean’s deals →

2. Celebrity: Six Nights for $636, Taxes In

Celebrity’s “75% Off Second Guest” offer saves up to $800, and this week the extra $100 bonus applies to Alaska sailings. Last week it applied to the Caribbean. Celebrity also has “3rd & 4th Guests Sail Free” on select sailings. Its prices include taxes and fees:

  • Celebrity Silhouette, 6 nights, Key West, Grand Cayman & Bahamas, from Fort Lauderdale, December 5, 2027: $636 (about $106 a night), down $17 from October 2.
  • Celebrity Silhouette, 8 nights, Aruba, Curaçao & Bonaire, from Fort Lauderdale, November 13, 2027: $911 (about $114 a night), unchanged from last week.
  • Celebrity Beyond, 7 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Bahamas, from Fort Lauderdale, December 6, 2026: $850 (about $121 a night), up $50 from last week.

Watch for: Silhouette’s December 13, 2026 sailing, which was $554 last week, is no longer on the page. The countdown on Celebrity’s main deals page ran out overnight. The last-minute “Exciting Deals” expire at 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, October 19, 2026, and can’t be combined with other offers. See Celebrity’s deals →

3. Disney: Mexican Riviera From $129.35 a Night

The Disney Cruise Line Blog’s October 12 post lists 156 dates with resident or military rates, quoted per person, per night:

  • Southern California residents, new to us: Disney Wonder, 6-night Mexican Riviera from San Diego, November 16, 2026: $129.35 a night ($776.10 per person). US military guests pay $124.80 ($748.80) on the same sailing.
  • US military: Disney Wonder, 4-night Baja from San Diego, January 25, 2027: $111.15 a night ($444.60). This is the third week running at this rate, and it’s still the lowest on the list.
  • Florida residents: Disney Dream, 4-night Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale, November 9, 2026: $187.60 a night ($750.40), unchanged and still the cheapest Florida rate.

Watch for: each rate is for the cheapest cabin category, rooms are limited to 50 per category, and the offers can’t be combined with other discounts. The Disney Adventure promotion (50% off third and fourth guests on select 2027 Singapore sailings) still runs until December 20, 2026.

4. Virgin Voyages: Caribbean Credit Ends October 22

“The Caribbean Sale” gives up to $500 in onboard credit on “most Caribbean sailings, now through October 22.” Virgin’s standing “Instant Savings + 70% Off 2nd Sailor” offer also still applies. The instant savings are worth up to $250 on four- and five-night voyages, $500 on six to nine nights, $750 on 10 to 13 nights and $1,000 on 14 nights or more.

Watch for: no voyages are priced on the page, and Virgin’s terms split the 70% saving across both sailors, so each gets 35% off. See Virgin Voyages’ deals →

5. Princess: Up to $550 Off, This Weekend Only

Princess’s new weekend sale offers “Up to $550 instant savings + up to $100 onboard credit + up to 45% + free 3rd & 4th guests.” Free third and fourth guests apply on Caribbean cruises. Last weekend’s sale offered up to $500 and 40%. Princess says its prices include taxes and fees. The page countdown ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Sunday, October 18.

Watch for: no named sailings or fares are on the page, so price your own sailing before the countdown runs out. See Princess deals →

6. Holland America: Save on Sunshine Now Ends October 21

Holland America has moved Save on Sunshine (up to 50% off fares, plus onboard credit and specialty dining on holiday cruises) from a December 31 end date to Wednesday, October 21. The “Last Chance for Early Booking Bonus + $99 Deposit” offer still runs until November 2, 2026, and the “Holland America Exclusive Sail & Save Offer” ends on October 29.

Watch for: no ships, dates or fares are listed, so you’ll need to price your own sailing. See Holland America’s deals →

Loyalty Points: What They’re Really Worth

  1. Turn points into dollars. Norwegian’s deals page this week offers “30,000 bonus points = $300 onboard credit,” which puts each point at about a penny. Compare that with any cash discount you’d give up to earn the points.
  2. Cruise-line tiers reward nights, not spending. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity mostly count nights sailed, so nine nights on Freedom for $621 does more for your status than a pricier four-night trip.
  3. Don’t pay extra just to stay loyal. Early tier perks are mostly small things like a drink or a priority line. If another line is $200 cheaper for the same week, take the cheaper one.
  4. Double-points weeks come back. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity both ran them in September. If you’re flexible, book when points are doubled, then watch the fare for a drop before final payment.
