How we work: facts are checked against original sources and linked, cruise prices are verified on the cruise line’s own website the day we publish, and we earn no commissions. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we will correct it.
This week the prices fell. Royal Caribbean’s West Coast board now has four nights on Ovation of the Seas for $169, about $42 a night, which is the cheapest night we have logged since we started tracking in September. Celebrity, which raised every fare we watched last week, has cut them, and Silhouette’s December week is $121 cheaper than two weeks ago.
These are the seven best deals of the week. Every price below was checked on October 9, 2026, directly on each cruise line’s site (Disney’s rates come via the Disney Cruise Line Blog, which tracks them weekly). Three of the sales behind these fares end on Monday, October 12, so we have listed every deadline.
⭐ Deal of the Day: Ovation of the Seas, Four Nights for $169
Royal Caribbean · Ovation of the Seas · 4 nights · Catalina & Ensenada · from Los Angeles · sails November 16, 2026
Royal Caribbean lists this from $169 per person, which works out to about $42 a night. Last week’s Deal of the Day, the same itinerary on November 2, was $199 (about $50 a night), so this is $30 less for a sailing two weeks later. It is also a Quantum-class ship, with the North Star observation pod and RipCord by iFly, and for Southern Californians the port is a drive away.
Watch for: $169 is a “starting from” fare for the cheapest cabin, and taxes, fees and gratuities are added at checkout. Royal Caribbean’s current sale (“Up to $850 off + Up to $100 Off Caribbean & West Coast thru April 2027 + 3rd and 4th guests sail free”) is coded on its page to end Monday, October 12 (Eastern time), so this price may not last the weekend. - Star of the Seas, 7 nights, Western Caribbean & Perfect Day, from Port Canaveral (Orlando), December 6, 2026: from $1,176 (about $168 a night), down $49.
- Icon of the Seas, 7 nights, Eastern Caribbean & Perfect Day, from Miami, December 5, 2026: from $1,137 (about $162 a night), down $20.
- New this week: Wonder of the Seas, 4 nights, Bahamas & Perfect Day, from Miami, October 19, 2026: from $389 (about $97 a night).
Watch for: two sailings went up. Freedom’s five-night October 17 cruise is now $398 (up $20), and Ovation’s three-night December 11 trip is $309 (up $9). Fares are per person, before taxes and fees, and the sale ends Monday, October 12. See Royal Caribbean’s deals →
2. Celebrity: Six Nights for $92 a Night, Taxes In
Celebrity’s “75% Off Second Guest” offer now caps the saving at up to $800, plus a $100 bonus on Caribbean sailings, and “3rd & 4th Guests Sail Free” on select sailings. Its prices include taxes and fees. The three best values all fell:
- Celebrity Silhouette, 6 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Bahamas, from Fort Lauderdale, December 13, 2026: $554 (about $92 a night), down from $675 on September 25 and the lowest we have seen it.
- Celebrity Beyond, 7 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Bahamas, from Fort Lauderdale, December 6, 2026: $800 (about $114 a night), down $65.
- Celebrity Beyond, 7 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Perfect Day, from Miami, October 18, 2026: $975 (about $139 a night), down $68 from last Friday.
Watch for: the sale countdown on Celebrity’s main deals page had already run out when we checked, so the 75% offer has no end date we can confirm. Celebrity’s last-minute “Exciting Deals” expire at 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, October 12, 2026. See Celebrity’s deals →
3. Disney: Military Rate Holds at $111.15 a Night
The Disney Cruise Line Blog’s October 5 post counts 148 dates with resident or military rates, quoted per person, per night:
- US military: Disney Wonder, 4-night Baja from San Diego, January 25, 2027: $111.15 a night ($444.60 per person), unchanged from last week and still the lowest Disney rate on the list.
- US military, new to us: Disney Wonder, 4-night Baja with Catalina Island, January 18, 2027: $130.00 a night ($520).
- Florida residents: Disney Dream, 4-night Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale, November 9, 2026: $187.60 a night ($750.40), still the cheapest Florida rate.
Watch for: these rates “cannot be combined with any other special offer or discounts, or onboard credits.” Separately, military guests get a $250 onboard credit on select Disney Wish and Disney Dream sailings throughout 2026.
4. Virgin Voyages: Up to $500 Onboard Credit in the Caribbean
New this week: “The Caribbean Sale” adds up to $500 in onboard credit on “most Caribbean sailings, now through October 22.” It sits on top of Virgin’s standing “Instant Savings + 70% Off 2nd Sailor” offer for voyages from September 1, 2026, to October 28, 2028. The instant savings run from $25 to $1,000, depending on cabin and voyage length. Paying in full takes off another 10%.
Watch for: no voyages are priced, and Virgin’s own terms say 70% off the second sailor gives each sailor 35% off the base fare. See Virgin Voyages’ deals →
5. Holland America: $99 Deposits Until November 2
The “Last Chance for Early Booking Bonus + $99 Deposit” offer is set to end on November 2, 2026. Save on Sunshine (up to 50% off Caribbean, Mexico and Panama Canal cruises) runs through December 31, 2026. Also new on the page is a “Holland America Exclusive Sail & Save Offer” that ends October 29.
Watch for: no ships, dates or fares are listed, so you will need to price your own sailing. See Holland America’s deals →
6. Princess: “Weekend Waves” Ends Monday Night
Princess’s new sale offers “Up to $500 instant savings + up to 40% + free 3rd & 4th guests + $99 deposits.” Free third and fourth guests apply on Caribbean cruises. Last week the top instant saving was $300. Princess says its prices include taxes and fees. The page countdown ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Monday, October 12.
Watch for: no named sailings or fares are on the page. See Princess deals →
Compare Like With Like: Taxes-In vs Taxes-Out Fares
- Check what the headline price includes. Royal Caribbean’s $169 is before taxes and fees. Celebrity’s $554 and Princess’s fares include them. Putting a $42 night next to a $92 night is only fair once both have the same things added.
- Price it to the last checkout screen. Taxes and port fees vary by itinerary, so the only reliable figure is the total on the final booking screen. Divide that by the number of nights.
- Then add gratuities. Most lines charge them per person per day on top of everything else. Our gratuities comparison has every major line’s rate.
- Short cruises carry more fixed cost per night. Port fees don’t shrink much on a four-night trip, so taxes can be a much bigger share of a $169 fare than of a $718 one.
