Today’s Best Cruise Deals: $278 for 4 Nights, Plus Free 3rd and 4th Guests

Tuesday is family day at Cruise Chaos, and this is the week the sales lined up for it: four mainstream lines are running some version of “your third and fourth guests sail free” at the same time. Underneath the banners, Royal Caribbean quietly cut four fares overnight — including the cheapest per-night price we have logged all month.

Every price below was checked on September 22, 2026, directly on each cruise line’s site (Disney’s rates come via the Disney Cruise Line Blog, which tracks them weekly). Where a fare has moved since we last logged it, we say which way.

⭐ Deal of the Day: Four Nights and CocoCay for $278

Royal Caribbean · Jewel of the Seas · 4 nights · Perfect Day at CocoCay & Bahamas · from Fort Lauderdale · sails October 5, 2026

Royal Caribbean lists this from $278 per person — about $70 a night, and the lowest per-night fare on our board this month. We have been watching this exact sailing since September 15, when it sat at $382. It fell to $307, held there for three straight days, and today it dropped again: $29 cheaper than it was on Monday, with two weeks still to go before it sails.

For families, the interesting arithmetic is what sits on top. Royal Caribbean’s current sale includes third and fourth guests sailing free on select sailings. If this one qualifies — and you must check that on the booking page, because “select” is doing real work in that sentence — a family of four in one cabin pays two fares, $556 in total, which is about $35 per person per night before taxes and fees. That is our own arithmetic, not a price Royal Caribbean advertises.

Watch for: it’s a “starting from” fare for the cheapest cabin, and taxes, fees and port expenses are added at checkout. 1. Royal Caribbean: Four Fares Moved, and a Nine-Night Run at $67

The sale headline is “Up to $900 off + Up to $100 off on short getaways + 3rd and 4th guests sail free.” The page’s countdown clock reads zeroes, so no end date is actually published. What did change is the pricing, and it moved in our favour:

• Wonder of the Seas, 4 nights, Bahamas & Perfect Day, from Miami, September 28, 2026: from $319 (about $80 a night) — down $30 from yesterday’s $349, on an Oasis-class ship with the kids’ hardware to match. Six days out.
• Freedom of the Seas, 9 nights, Southern Caribbean, from Miami, September 24, 2026: from $603 (about $67 a night) — down $69 from the $672 we logged on September 18. It sails in two days, which is why it’s cheap.
• Allure of the Seas, 8 nights, Southern Caribbean & Perfect Day, from Fort Lauderdale, October 3, 2026: from $799 (about $100 a night), a new sail date on the board.
• Icon of the Seas, 7 nights, Eastern Caribbean & Perfect Day, from Miami, November 7, 2026: from $1,147 (about $164 a night) — the family superstructure costs what it costs.

Watch for: a nine-night Caribbean cruise at $67 a night leaving in 48 hours is inside final payment, so the whole fare is due at booking and there is no refund window to speak of. See Royal Caribbean’s deals →

2. Norwegian: Guests 3 and 4 Sail Free, Spelled Out in the Terms

Most lines bury the family offer in a footnote. Norwegian’s Free at Sea page states it plainly: “Guests 3 and 4 sailing in the same stateroom (as Guests 1 & 2) sail free.” That sits alongside 50% off all cruises, which the deals page calls a “limited time offer applicable to all categories” with no expiry printed.

Free at Sea itself is the real value for a family: an unlimited open bar, three specialty dining experiences on a seven-day cruise, 150 minutes of Starlink Wi-Fi for every guest in the stateroom, and a $50 shore excursion credit at every port — that last one for the first guest only, which matters when you are booking four people. It applies to reservations created on or after November 5, 2025, and can be added up to 24 hours before sailing.

Watch for: Norwegian publishes no named ship, sail date or fare on either deals page, so we can list this as an offer but not as a price. The one hard date is 0% APR Flex Pay financing, booked by November 4, 2026. See Norwegian’s deals →

3. Carnival: The $25-a-Day Kids Package Stops on September 30

Carnival’s deals page renders nothing a robot can read, but its Cruise Value Packages page is plain text and carries a deadline eight days out. All three are purchasable August 24 through September 30, 2026, for sailings August 28 through December 31, 2027:

• Kids & Teens Value Package, “starting at $25 per person, per day” (ages 3 to 17): Bottomless Bubbles with a souvenir cup, the Social Wi-Fi Plan, 1,000 arcade tokens Carnival values at “$200”, 50% off bulk candy at Cherry On Top and a lanyard.
• Essentials, $50 per person, per day: Cheers! Zero Proof with the service charge included, the Value Wi-Fi Plan, $50 off shore excursions and $25 off specialty dining.
• Ultimate, $90 per person, per day: the full Cheers! drink package, Premium Wi-Fi, the same excursion and dining discounts, plus 50% off spa treatments and photo packages.

Watch for: these are bought through My Cruise Manager, not at the gangway, and the sailing window runs to the end of 2027 — so a package bought this month can cover a cruise you have not booked yet.

4. Princess: Free 3rd and 4th Guests on the Caribbean, With $99 Deposits

Princess is running “Up to 40% off & $300 instant savings” beside a separate, limited-time “Free 3rd & 4th guests on Caribbean cruises” offer, with $99 deposits and 0% APR payments. Its quoted fares include taxes and fees, quoted per person on double occupancy, which makes Princess unusually easy to compare against Royal Caribbean’s pre-tax “from” prices.

New to the line? Princess lists $50 onboard credit for new guests who sign up for its emails and book a 2026–2028 cruise within 90 days. Watch for: no named ships, sail dates or fares appeared anywhere on the promotions page today, so there is no specific sailing here to verify. See Princess deals →

5. Celebrity: Two Family Levers at Once, and a New Deadline

Celebrity stacks “75% Off Second Guest” with “3rd & 4th Guests Sail Free” — the terms read “Your 3rd and 4th guests sail free when sharing the same stateroom on select sailings. Taxes and fees apply.” Its last-minute lane, “Final Rooms at GREAT RATES,” has rolled its clock forward to 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, September 28, 2026, a week after the deadline that expired last night. Celebrity’s prices include taxes and fees:

• Celebrity Beyond, 7 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Perfect Day, from Miami, October 18, 2026: $968 per person — about $138 a night, taxes in.
• Celebrity Beyond, 7 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Bahamas, from Fort Lauderdale, April 11, 2027: $889 per person — about $127 a night, and the cheapest week on Celebrity’s board today.
• Celebrity Silhouette, 6 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Bahamas, from Fort Lauderdale, December 13, 2026: $670 per person — about $112 a night, but up $94 from the $576 we logged on September 18. That one got away.

6. Disney: A Brand-New Half-Price Offer for Guests 3 and 4

Disney almost never discounts a third child, so this is news: the Disney Cruise Line Blog reports a new Disney Adventure promotion giving 50% off the 3rd and 4th guests, booked by December 20, 2026, on 96 select Singapore sailings between January 4 and December 16, 2027, with blackout dates and a requirement of two full-fare guests in the same stateroom.

Closer to home, the same post counts 141 sail dates carrying resident and military rates, quoted per person, per night:

• Florida residents: Disney Fantasy, 5-night Bahamian from Port Canaveral, November 15, 2026 — $232.40 a night.
• Canadian residents: Disney Wonder, 4-night Baja from San Diego, November 9, 2026 — $155.25 a night, the cheapest rate on this week’s board.
• Canadian residents: Disney Magic, 7-night Alaskan from Vancouver, May 27, 2027 — $177.75 a night, which is a remarkable number for Alaska on Disney.

Watch for: Southern California rates come with a note worth chasing — “Children’s rates may also be available to Guests ages 3 to 12 traveling with 2 adults in the same stateroom.” Proof of eligibility is required at check-in, and these offers do not combine with other discounts.

Drink and Wi-Fi Packages: The Only Math That Decides It

Family bundles are where a cheap fare quietly becomes an expensive holiday. Four rules, using today’s real numbers.

1. Convert the package into a break-even, not a discount. Carnival’s Kids & Teens package is $25 per child per day. On a 4-night cruise that’s $100 per child. Ask what your child would actually spend on soda and arcade tokens in four days — if it isn’t $100, the package is a subsidy going the wrong way.
2. Treat “value” figures as marketing. That package includes 1,000 arcade tokens Carnival prints a “$200 Value” on. Tokens are only worth $200 if your child would otherwise have fed $200 into the machines. Price the things you would have bought anyway, and ignore the rest.
3. Count the Wi-Fi heads, not the ship’s. Norwegian’s Free at Sea gives every guest in the stateroom 150 Starlink minutes — genuinely four allowances. But the $50 shore excursion credit per port goes to the first guest only. Read which perks are per person and which are per booking; the difference is hundreds of dollars for a family of four.
4. An adult drinks package usually has to be bought by both adults. Lines that sell an unlimited alcohol package generally require every adult in the cabin to buy it. Carnival’s Ultimate package at $90 per person per day means $180 a day for two, or $720 on that four-night Bahamas run — more than the cruise fare in today’s Deal of the Day.
