How we work: facts are checked against original sources and linked, cruise prices are verified on the cruise line’s own website the day we publish, and we earn no commissions. Spotted a mistake? Tell us and we will correct it.
Four big cruise lines are letting the third and fourth guests in a cabin sail free right now, and Royal Caribbean has added Kids Sail Free on top. The catch: “free” guests still pay taxes and fees, and school-holiday weeks are often excluded. We read the fine print so you don’t have to.
Every price below was checked on September 15, 2026, directly on each cruise line’s site (Disney’s rates come via the Disney Cruise Line Blog, which tracks them weekly). Fares change constantly, so confirm before you book.
⭐ Deal of the Day: 9 Caribbean Nights From $639, and Guests 3 and 4 Sail Free

Royal Caribbean · Freedom of the Seas · 9 nights · Southern Caribbean · from Miami · sails October 22, 2026
Royal Caribbean lists this sailing from $639 per person, about $71 a night. The bigger news is in the terms: bookings made September 15 to October 5, 2026, on select sailings of 3 nights or more get $0 cruise fare for the third and fourth guests, and October 22 is outside every blackout date. If this sailing and your cabin qualify, two parents paying $639 each cover the cruise fare for four people: $1,278 for nine nights.
Watch for: “starting from” fares are usually for the cheapest cabin, which may not sleep four, and taxes, fees and port expenses “apply to all guests.” See Royal Caribbean’s deals →

2. Celebrity: 3rd and 4th Guests Free, With Taxes Already in the Price

Celebrity says the 3rd and 4th guests sail free on select sailings of 3 nights or longer. It also gives 75% off the second guest’s fare, up to $650 in savings plus a $100 bonus on select sailings. When we checked on September 13, that cap was $750, so it has shrunk. Celebrity’s listed prices include taxes and fees:
- Celebrity Reflection, 8 nights, Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao, from Fort Lauderdale, September 26, 2026: $828 per person (about $104 a night, taxes included).
- Celebrity Beyond, 7 nights, Grand Cayman, Mexico & Perfect Day, from Miami, October 4, 2026: $801 per person (about $114 a night).
- Celebrity Xcel, 7 nights, Bahamas, Mexico & Cayman, from Miami, December 13, 2026: $844 per person (about $121 a night).
Watch for: Celebrity doesn’t show an age limit or a booking deadline for the free-guest offer, and taxes, fees and port expenses “apply to all guests.” See Celebrity’s deals →
3. Princess: Free 3rd and 4th Guests on Caribbean Cruises, $99 Deposits

Princess’s limited-time offer bundles up to 40% off, up to $300 in instant savings, $99 deposits and free cruise fare for 3rd and 4th guests on Caribbean cruises, on bookings made by October 12, 2026, a week later than Royal Caribbean’s deadline.
Watch for: the free fare “applies to cruise fare only.” Government taxes and fees and the required cruise fees and expenses are still charged, and the first or second guest pays them for the free guests. Princess’s terms also describe the required deposit as non-refundable. See the Princess offer →
4. Norwegian: Guests 3 and 4 Sail Free, Plus Soda and Juice for Kids
Norwegian’s Free at Sea package says “Guests 3 and 4 sailing in the same stateroom (as Guests 1 & 2) sail free.” Norwegian’s headline sale is 50% off all cruises. Guests aged 3 to 20 in the first two spots get complimentary soda and juice in place of the open bar. Norwegian also offers 0% APR financing on bookings made by November 4, 2026. See Norwegian’s deals →
Watch for: Norwegian doesn’t list eligible dates or the taxes on free guests on that page. Ask for the all-in total.

It includes Bottomless Bubbles sodas, Social Wi-Fi and 1,000 arcade tokens (which Carnival values at $200). On a 5-night cruise that’s $125 per child, and other guests in the cabin don’t have to buy it too.

When “Sail Free” Isn’t Free: What Guests 3 and 4 Still Cost
- Add taxes, fees and port expenses for every guest. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess all say these still apply to free guests.
- Count gratuities per person. Check whether your line’s daily gratuities cover children.
- Price a cabin that actually sleeps four. The advertised “from” fare is usually for the cheapest cabin. A four-berth cabin costs more for guests 1 and 2.
- Compare with two cabins. With teenagers, also price two adjacent cabins with two guests each. Compare the all-in totals, and remember you’d get two bathrooms.
- Check the calendar first. Royal Caribbean’s offers exclude Thanksgiving, the winter holidays, most of March and the summer break.
